DTE Energy announces several executive appointments
DETROIT, April 3, 2018 — DTE Energy today announced executive appointments effective immediately.
Angie Pizzuti, executive director, Customer Service Operations, is promoted to vice president, Customer Service. Pizzuti joined DTE in 2002 and in her new role will be responsible for leading DTE Energy’s customer service organization, including the company’s wide variety of billing programs and payment options.
“At every step in her career, Angie has been a strong advocate for delivering world-class service to our customers,” said Jerry Norcia, president and chief operating officer, DTE Energy. “As we continue to transform our gas and electric distribution infrastructure, she is an ideal leader to keep customers at the heart of everything we do.”
Renee Tomina, director, Gas Operations - Construction, is promoted to executive director, Gas Distribution Operations. Tomina has been with DTE since 2010. In her new role, Tomina will lead the distribution operations of DTE Gas, an organization responsible for operating and maintaining nearly 40,000 miles of natural gas distribution lines to deliver energy to 1.3 million homes and businesses across Michigan.
“With Renee’s experience in leading the renewal of our gas distribution system, coupled with her expertise in continuous improvement and running customer focused operations, she will lead the organization to new frontiers of safety, reliability and efficiency,” said Mark Stiers, president and chief operating officer, DTE Gas.
Joi Harris, vice president, Gas Operations, will assume the role of vice president, Major Enterprise Projects (MEP). Harris, a 30-year veteran of DTE, will be responsible for leading the project management, planning and execution of the company’s largest initiatives, including the construction of DTE’s new renewable energy projects.
“Joi’s deep experience in planning and executing complex projects and her inspiring leadership style will ensure we continue to maximize the value of our capital investments for our customers at the minimum cost,” said Robert Richard, senior vice president, MEP.
Robert Richard will assume the role of senior vice president, MEP and Customer Service. Richard joined DTE in 2003. In this expanded role, Richard will have overall responsibility for the Customer Service organization in addition to overseeing MEP operations.
